  1. I’d rather get charged with leaving the scene of an accident than a DWI

    1. You could get tagged with both….

      1. How could one possible get ‘tagged’ for DWI unless they foolishly admit ‘operation’ or are found wandering around still under the influence. Even in the peoples republic of New Jerkey it wouldnt be likely to charge a sober person with DWI the day after the accident

  2. Gee, I don’t expect we’ll ever figure out who the car belongs to. It’ll just be one of life’s little mysteries.

    1. yeah, “two individuals hiding” doesn’t give much of a clue………

      1. Two words: LICENSE PLATE.

If your Benz disappears, what are you going to do? Forget about it? Report it?

  3. Exactly that the prove that you were drunk, maybe they just lost control of the car and got nervous and ran away. This is what happens when police offices try to be the court system. They want to be the council the judge the witness they try to figure everything out ,

  4. So police from Paramus, Maywood, River Edge, Emerson, Washington Township, including the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department Patrol AND K9 Divisions, all turned out to investigate a crashed, abandoned vehicle? What, the Ridgewood boys too busy playing Candy Crush on their phones in Van Neste?

    1. Just missing the National Guard.

    2. Post of the day !

  5. County handle it
