Edgewater NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of WILLIAM AREVALO (6/09/1989; single; self-employed) of 190 River Road, Edgewater, NJ on charges of possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love.

On August 30, 2022, following an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotic Task Force, a search warrant was executed at WILLIAM AREVALO’s residence. AREVALO was found to be in possession of over five pounds of marijuana and hashish oils, and he was placed under arrest without incident.

WILLIAM AREVALO was charged with first-degree possession with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance, namely hashish oils, N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5(b)(10)(a); and second-degree possession with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance, namely marijuana; N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5(b)(10)(b). He was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, NJ.

Prosecutor Mark Musella states that the charges are merely accusations and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. He would like to thank the Hackensack Police Department and Edgewater Police Department for its assistance in this investigation.
