Glen Rock NJ, the Glen Rock Police report that at 11:53 a.m. on Thursday November 12th , patrols were dispatched to the Rock Road Central Business District to investigate a report of a man sitting on a bench bleeding. The victim, a 93-year-old Ridgewood man, stated he was walking on the sidewalk when a dog ran out from a lobby door leading to second floor apartments. The dog then lunged at the man and bit his left wrist. The victim was treated on scene by EMT’s and refused further medical attention. Officers were able to identify the dog and its owner. The matter has been referred to TYCO Animal Control. Incidents of this nature are investigated by Animal Control in cooperation with Bergen County Health Services.
Again, didn’t they have this problem last month. We wonder is the same dog. If so this is going to be a problem.
I have a neighbor who can’t control her German Shepherds….this has been going on for 15 years.
You can’t walk on the sidewalk or the dogs climb the fence and lunge at you.
The hood of her car lost all of it’s paint, I think a neighbor took matters into his own hands and dumped a chemical mix on her car. That does not seem to deter her.
We doing any contact tracing to see if anyone else came into contact with this dog?
