A dumb move? Imagine it from your own perspective. Imagine NAFTA taken to the same level as the EU. Not only do the USA, Canada, and Mexico have a trading arrangement, but you now have open borders with these countries and absolutely anyone from these countries can legally move and work anywhere within the three countries. It gets worse. You also have a separate NAFTA governing body that sits, probably in somewhere like Mexico City. Sounds crazy, right? That’s the EU.
The Brits were smart to lose this extra layer of unnecessary beauracracy.
Government is out of control.
Time for the people to take control and downsize.
