Glen Rock NJ, according to Glen Rock police Lt. Frank Riggio an ex-con wanted on a federal warrant was caught Monday with a .40 caliber pistol, a high-capacity magazine and hollow-point bullets in Glen Rock. Aaron Williams, 30, of Paterson, is wanted by the U.S. Marshals for violating terms of his probation and / or supervised release. He was arrested in connection with the firearm and ammunition charge at 5:12 a.m. Monday in the area of Bradford Street. Williams was sitting inside of a car when Glen Rock officers arrived to investigate a dispute he was reportedly involved in. He was then charged with providing false pedigree information to officers to hinder apprehension and multiple weapons offenses. Williams was remanded to the Bergen County Jail on the charges and the federal warrant.

Apparently he was unaware of Governor Murphy signing into law A4769/S-3214 which makes various revisions to requirements for obtaining a firearm purchaser identification card, permit to purchase a handgun, and permit to carry a handgun; codifies sensitive places in which firearms and destructive devices are prohibited.
