MIDLAND PARK, NJ – It was a day to remember for local residents at the Northwest Senior Center. After settling in for a special screening of Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere, the audience received a surprise that brought the “Jersey Shore” magic straight to Bergen County.
Matthew Pellicano Jr., the Fair Lawn native who portrays a young Bruce Springsteen in the highly anticipated biopic, made a surprise guest appearance alongside Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco.
Local Talent Hits the Big Screen
Pellicano, a rising star from right here in Bergen County, is set to make his feature film debut in the film written and directed by Scott Cooper. The movie, which explores the making of Springsteen’s iconic Nebraska album, has generated massive buzz nationwide—but for Midland Park seniors, the story became personal.
County Executive Jim Tedesco praised the young actor for his community spirit:
“Thank you, Matthew, for taking the time to come by and brighten the day for so many of our residents,” Tedesco shared during the visit.
