
Fair Lawn Police: Man Arrested After Lewd Act in Parking Lot and Assault on Officer

FAIR LAWN, NJ – A disturbing incident at a local business led to the arrest of a Fairfield man this past weekend after he allegedly exposed himself and attacked a responding officer.
The Fair Lawn Police Department released details on Wednesday regarding the confrontation, which occurred in a parking lot on one of the borough’s busiest commercial stretches.
Incident at Local Broadway Spa
On Sunday, April 26, 2026, Fair Lawn Police Officer Victor Urgiles was dispatched to a sauna and spa business located on Broadway. The call originated from reports of a male suspect harassing customers at the establishment.
Upon arrival, Officer Urgiles reportedly discovered the suspect, identified as 22-year-old Amir Boranukov, engaged in a lewd act (masturbating) between two vehicles in the business’s parking lot.
Escalation and Assault
The situation turned violent when the suspect noticed the officer. According to police statements:

Without provocation, the suspect punched the officer in the face with a closed fist.
Despite the assault, the officer was able to take the suspect into custody.
