Fair Lawn NJ, Fair Lawn Police Department reminds residents to “Beware of the ides” of March as they are upon us. Also of the porch pirates, as pictured here in this video. Little did this porch pirate know he stole extra small @lululemon which doesn’t look like it will fit him.
But in all seriousness we need your help! Be aware of your surroundings and the people that frequent your neighborhood. If you see something suspicious like this video say something and call us immediately 201-796-1400. If you see that your neighbors package may be vulnerable to a theft maybe take it in for them or place it behind something that can’t be seen from the street.
Another reminder please lock your cars at night and take out your valuables! Please do not leave your key fobs in the vehicle. Police departments nationwide are starting the 9pm routine. Lock your vehicles at 9pm. Routine will turn into habits! Together we can prevent crimes and deter criminals.
