Fair Lawn NJ, the Ridgewood blog had previously reported that on Sunday March 20th the Fair Lawn Police temporarily diverted traffic on Broadway East and 30th street because of a motor vehicle crash. Fair Lawn Police now report that at 8:26 pm Police Officer Anthony Ferreira, along with Officers, Pindyck, Cruz, Hearon, Boskovski, Roskowsky & Sgt. Wood, responded to Broadway at 30th Street on a motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival, they found the vehicle overturned on its side and the operator entrapped.
Once removed by the Fair Lawn Rescue Squad and medically checked by the Fair Lawn Volunteer Ambulance, John Keegan, age 59 of Ridgewood, was arrested after refusing to perform a roadside sobriety test. He was released to a responsible adult after being charged with failure to maintain a single lane, reckless driving & driving while intoxicated.
