Geovanny Buitron, while sitting in his police vehicle on Brookside Avenue at Margaret Court, observed a vehicle driving at a high speed through that neighborhood and pursued the vehicle until it stopped at a residence on Berdan Avenue, where the operator attempted to run off before he was stopped by the detective. The operator, a 16-year-old male from Fair Lawn, was released to a parent at his residence. He was charged on a juvenile petition to family court with eluding & resisting arrest.
