Ridgewood NJ, FEMA will be sending a Disaster Survivor Assistance Team to Ridgewood on Saturday, September 25, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. FEMA will set up on the patio area, between the Library and Village Hall, to assist residents and businesses affected by Hurricane Ida.
Village residents and businesses sustaining losses as a result of Hurricane Ida are eligible to apply for Federal disaster relief. Assistance can include grants for temporary housing and home repairs, low-cost loans to cover uninsured property losses, and other programs to help individuals and business owners recover from the effects of the disaster.
Ridgewood residents and business owners can also apply for disaster relief directly by visiting www.DisasterAssistance.gov, by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362), or 1-800-462-7585 (TTY) for the hearing and speech impaired. The toll-free telephone numbers are in operation from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m
