Topic: Fire and Ice: Winter Festivals at New Bridge

At the darkest time of year, all European peoples, especially those in the more northerly climes, felt the need to break the monotony of cold and night with festivals. Over the centuries, the incorporation of these celebrations into the Christian calendar insured their continuation even into our times. Meet at the Steuben House.
