Fire Fighters Make Short Work of 2 Alarm Warehouse Fire in Mahwah

Mahwah NJ, the Ramsey Fire Department responded into the township of Mahwah yesterday morning with a ladder truck for a fire inside of a warehouse. The fire was quickly knocked down by the Mahwah Fire Department, Ramsey Fire crews assisted in overhaul and ventilation.

The two-alarm fire broke out in a building that houses Powerhouse Gym on McKee Drive in Mahwah around 7 a.m. Firefighters made short work of the fire ,knocking it down in 1/2 hour . No injuries reported .

Jim Wysocki Mayor of Mahwah: This morning, our fire department responded to a fire alarm, which turned out to be a serious fire on McKee Drive. The fire involved a commercial building which required several mutual-aid towns to assist. Thankfully, no one was injured and property damage was kept to a minimum. At this time, I would like to thank the mutual aid departments who assisted us from New York and New Jersey. Mahwah thanks you!
