
Firefighters battle Smokey Blaze at Waldwick PSE&G substation

Waldwick NJ, Firefighters from countless Bergen & Passaic County, NJ communities battled a stubborn cooling oil fed fire at a Public Service Electric and Gas electric sub/switching station on Hopper Avenue in Waldwick, NJ.
The fire began shortly after 10:30 AM on Sunday, 09/13. Heavy smoke and visible fire were still present as evening approached. EMS resources from several communities were also summoned to assist with decontamination of personnel.
