  6. Hyun Ju Kwak is awesome. Chris kaufmann does not even read the materials in advance of a meeting, and then inserts inane comments. So no for him and his buddy teammate. Shiela is a NO. Don’t know enough about Madison yet

So far my only vote will be for HyunJu Kwak

  8. Brogan is a teachers union puppet and will return our kids to remote/virtual non-learning the first chance she gets. Kaufman does not even send his kids to Ridgewood public schools and is clueless. Both of them should be voted out. It’s time for the kids to be back in school, COVID, Delta, Lambda, or not. The kids’ education and future should not suffer for the ignorance of unvaccinated adults and the selfishness of the teachers unions. Vote out Brogan, vote out Kaufman. Poelstra needs to go as well with her nonsense presentations regarding the supposed success of remote/virtual learning.

  9. Brogan is the only one in the building that has her head on straight.

  10. What are these candidates position on the teaching of critical race theory and associated ideologies to the K-12 student body?

  11. Does Kaufman understand that he can only get two more people elected with him and not three?
He’s bracketed with MM, and he’s singing praises for Sheila and Susan.
Dude you need to pick TWO, not THREE, if you want to be one of the three winning candidates.

  12. 100% Kaufman 👍

  13. Sheila has been on the board for I believe 20 years. That is too long foe anyone. She is no longer a voice of the people but in actuality part of the administration. Christopher Kaufman is the least prepared Board member in recent history. For that reason alone he should not be re elected. Ms. Kwak deserves to be re elected. She has proven herself this past year over and over. I have heard Ms. Madison speaking out at meetings . She is knowledgeable, smart and concerned about the students. Mr. Mamoud is smart and decent and involved with the community. He deserves a seat at the table.

  14. Mamoud has shown up at zero meetings in the past year. He didn’t show up at the meeting at which he was appointed by then BOE (as replacement for a board member who moved to Florida as soon as her kid graduated). Before he was appointed, he only showed at BOE meetings to discuss holidays.

  15. Kaufman doesn’t have the analytical bandwidth to accomplish what the board is set to do. He has proven to be a simple-minded rubber stamper.

  16. Has anyone noticed that Sheila has suddenly started asking questions at the meetings? Oh, an election is coming, so she is asking fake questions??

  17. It looks like this race is going to be between Sheila, MM and Chris for the 3rd seat. The first two seats look solid.

  18. Anonymous, you are correct. Kaufman will have to tell us why should we vote for his ticket over two other candidates, not just one.
He can’t promote four candidates for three seats. That will be a disservice to his running mate.

  19. Sheila’s time to ride into the sunset – like she promised a decade ago.

  20. Sit back everybody and enjoy the show. I can imagine what’s going to happen now.

  21. Susan Madison has my vote – hands down! She has done more for children in RPS in the last 18 months then most have done in 15 years that I lived here!
She is a champion of children and education!

  22. “She has done more for the children in RPS in the last 18 month than most have don in 15 years . . . ” does not qualify Susan Madison for BoE.; making sure taxpayers get ROI in terms of our school system and our students is. I am looking forward to hearing what Susan has to say and how she will represent ALL residents of Ridgewood on the BoE. I am hoping she is not an overhyped disappointment like Kaufman was (although anyone listening to him during his campaign knew he was dull-normal). I am hoping she is a strong and competent candidate I can support.

  23. What happened to Saurabh Dani? Is he still on the BOE?

  24. The two men have bracketed themselves. What’s their common platform other than that they are buddies looking to form a little fraternity?

  25. Three questions only. When Is election? Who supports CRT? (voting them out)
Who is totally against remote learning in any way? That was a disaster, I’d vote for that candidate. Please advise.

  26. Susan Madison is a one-issue candidate. She is overly emotional and has extreme tunnel vision. What else has she done besides berate the BOE regarding in-person learning? I will vote for Kwak, Brogan and Mahmoud.

  27. The teaching of critical race theory in our schools is a crime. Students of ANY RACE should feel good about themselves and not be ashamed of who they are and what they will become. So the single question I have is simple. CRT OR NOT. Let us know so we could vote accordingly.

  29. “Susan Madison is a one-issue candidate. She is overly emotional and has extreme tunnel vision. What else has she done besides berate the BOE regarding in-person learning? ” I agee and will add she says she will be “a voice for all students” which is why I am definitely NOT voting for her. Her job is to be a voice for the residents of Ridgewood and to ensure that we get the best education within the constraints of a reasonable budget. She’s pro in-person and anti-mask and that is her entire platform. She’s pandering to the west side mommies. So, no, I will not vote for her.
