Glen Rock NJ, Glen Rock Police Department Motor Unit Officer Adam Pyatak checks for additional occupants in a vehicle surrounded by water from flash flooding on Maple Avenue in Glen Rock. The vehicle’s adult female driver was uninjured.
National Weather Service says ,”There is an isolated severe and flash flood threat with thunderstorms late this afternoon and evening. The primary severe threat is damaging winds.”
Come on ‘ the barricades should have been placed on the road before the rain . No one was watching the low line area. It’s the worst spot in town. Every one new the rain was coming.
How about the dumbass drivers don’t drive into 4 feet of standing water.
Have a little personal responsibility.
There should be Flashing Flood Warning Signals installed both sides of bridge before approach of that underpass.
