Mahwah NJ, Frank T. Pallotta, candidate for Congress in New Jersey’s Fifth Congressional District, released the following statement in response to the report that Governor Phil Murphy’s tuition assistance program awarded $3.8 million in college aid to immigrants that were brought here illegally:
“At a time when our own citizens — including our veterans — are sick, struggling with crippling student loans, and sleeping in the streets, why are we looking to provide free healthcare, tuition, and housing to unauthorized immigrants? Josh Gottheimer fails to call out and stand up to members of his own party even as they push policies that will lead our country into fiscal ruin and harm our citizens.”
Hey Frank, the entire crowd in Washington does the same thing.
I admit NJ is further down the road of lunacy.
While understanding that RT, it certainly must be said that the longest journey begins with the first step. States like NJ and CA have been choosing to increase taxes to solve a spending problem, instead of reducing spending. The reason the “entire crowd” does what they do in Washington, is mostly because taxing is easier to execute than spending cuts.
Gottheimer has been a failure for this district from the day he took office. He continues to seek personal gain over the needs of this district. We’re behind you, Frank, because we know your behind us.
