Garrett Statement on the Fifth District Congressional Race

Ridgewood NJ, Garrett for Congress issued the following statement from Congressman Scott Garrett on the Fifth District congressional race:
“I would like to thank everyone that supported our campaign – from the voters to the volunteers and campaign staff that dedicated their time and energy to this effort. While the results of this election were not what I had hoped for, I am proud of the race we ran – we stayed the course and kept the faith. We are charged to pray for our nation’s leaders, and we are doing that now.
Does anyone know what committees he was on…?
Can’t imagine Josh will get added to too many committees…and of course he won’t have any seniority so no one will listen to him.
Like Garrett got anything done.
Funny thing , Trump will force the repeal of Obamacare, Dodd-Frank and the cancellation of the Iran Nuke deal all projects of Garrett and CD5 will be left with a worthless piece of corrupt garbage with no connections and no standing ….smart go jersey
Congressman Carpetbaggin’ Josh. Vote to raise taxes as long as NJ-5 gets earmarks only for the GOP house to strike them. Libs never learn.

He did not “graciously concede.” He refused to even acknowledge the winner’s name. Bad attitude.
With $10 million of anti Garrett money from out of the district backing you so you can run false attack ads, you could put up anyone as a candidate and win. Let’s not forget the national realtor group ponied up almost 2 million for this carpet bagger.
My h Ouse will be sold by me on Zillow or Fsbo. Remind your realtor friends their political actions have financial consequences for them.
Scott, enjoy your vacation because in two years craven Gottheimer, unsupported by the now-defunct Clinton Crime Syndicate, will be an accomplishment-free sitting duck quacking an unintelligible indictment of a very popular Trump administration and fairly begging to be put out of his misery.
