Glen Rock Man Hospitalized After Being Struck in Crosswalk

Glen Rock NJ, a Glen Rock man was taken to the hospital last week after being struck by a vehicle while crossing the street, according to local police.

The incident occurred at approximately 7:15 p.m. last Monday when Glen Rock Police Officer T.J. Graziani, while on patrol, came across the injured pedestrian in the crosswalk at Harding Plaza and Maple Avenue. The 46-year-old man had been hit by a vehicle while crossing the road.

Officer Graziani immediately provided aid to the victim until EMS personnel arrived on the scene. The man was then transported to Valley Hospital in Paramus, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police reported.

The driver, a 66-year-old Glen Rock resident, remained at the scene and fully cooperated with authorities. He was issued a summons for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk, as required by New Jersey state law.
