Glen Rock NJ, Glen Rock Police and Ridgewood Police units responded in force to a reported disturbance taking place inside of a NJ Transit bus (Route 175) on Monday afternoon, 02/19. A 911 telephone caller reported that the bus driver was being threatened by an adult male passenger. The moving bus was stopped by Ridgewood Police in front of 348 South Maple Avenue, Glen Rock. Because the bus driver was unwilling to sign a complaint against the passenger, no arrests were made and the bus was sent on its way.
Good to know someone called 911. I was on a Coach bus from the park and ride a while back and a passenger was threatening to kill another passenger and although most people including the bus driver largely ignored what was happening, I think the driver should have stopped the bus and called the police. I will certainly do that next time.
Yes don’t take anybody’s bullshit. We are all living in a different world today, every day something else is going on. People need to open up their eyes in years and get involved. Especially towards bullies. I love kicking bullies asses.
Glad to see our local pd doing the job of nj transit police.
Why bother having nj transit police since th would never be able to respond in time.
Oh wait. I forgot . It’s NJ. Another Union do-nothing job, the nnj transit police dept.
