Glen Rock NJ, on Tuesday evening, July 30, shortly after 7:00 pm, all on-duty Glen Rock Police uniformed patrol units responded to a report of a fist fight at the basketball courts in Wilde Park, which had drawn a gathering crowd. By the time patrol units arrived, the altercation had ended, and at least one of the participants had already left the area.
The basketball courts at Wilde Park have a troubling history, having been the site of an unsolved shooting on May 21. In response to the shooting, Glen Rock officials had closed the courts for several weeks to ensure public safety.
To maintain order and ensure the safety of park visitors, two uniformed officers from Glen Rock Police remained at the park for an extended period on Tuesday night. Additionally, as a precaution, Ridgewood Police dispatched two uniformed officers to assist at the scene.

Put a fence around it and lock it.
But the perps will move somewhere else like Hawes.
Its part of the ‘culture’ of those who favor basketball.
Instead of spending $500 for your kid to play travel basketball against other unathletic white kids from the surrounding towns, send them to Wilde every night for some pick up runs.
And learn some street smarts for free.
Make it a pickle ball court
