Ridgewood NJ, according to multiple sources Governor Phil Murphy is expected to announce that all teachers including Ridgewood teachers will be required to get the COVID-19 vaccine this school year.
The governor is scheduled to return from vacation .Lately his policy announcement have come during his Monday coronavirus briefings.
The details of Murphy’s plan were unclear, including whether there would be an option for teachers to get regularly tested instead of vaccinated. But Sen. Joseph Vitale, chairman of the Health, Human Services and Senior Citizens Committee, said the administration confirmed Thursday the governor’s intent to require the vaccine.
This is absurd. First of all, the people currently hospitalized from covid, are both vaccinated and unvaccinated. Not everyone should be forced to vaccinate. There should be an option. Some people react poorly from vaccines and others suffering from severe anxiety suffer from the anxiety not feeling comfortable with the anguish of getting the vaccine. There should be options. You are putting people with this anxiety into deep depression. There is a 99.6% recovery from this illness. Please, for the love of God, reconsider.
