Paramus NJ, Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco met with Governor Murphy at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center to discuss the progress of vaccine administration .
Tedesco said on his Facebook page , “It was a pleasure to welcome Governor Phil Murphy this morning to the Alternative Care Facility Annex vaccination site at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center. The site, which was constructed by the Army Corps of Engineers with help from FEMA earlier this year, is a designated “initial distribution point” for the Moderna vaccine and has been in operation since December 28th providing vaccinations to Category 1A personnel.
At this point vaccine supply is still extremely limited but with the announcement of releasing additional vaccines from the federal government, there is hope of an increase in supply soon. I encourage all residents of Bergen County to pre-register for your vaccination appointment which you can do so by visiting www.BergenCOVIDVaccine.com .”

The Federal Government gave New Jersey Over 600,000 doses. Thus far, New Jersey has inoculated roughly 200,000 people, roughly 30%. West Virginia has distributed 70% of the doses allotted to them by the Federal Government. Perhaps Murphy should visit West Virginia to get a lesson on distribution, because those 400,000 doses sitting around aren’t getting better with age.
