Ridgewood NJ -On Tuesday, May 10, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., the shop will be giving away free scoops of any flavor of ice cream to celebrate their 5th annual Free Flavor Day. May 10 will also officially launch the search for the Häagen-Dazs Flavor Ambassador, a title filled with perks such as free ice cream for a year, as well as the opportunity to provide feedback on new flavors and desserts before they hit the shelves.
“May is a time when communities across the nation start to say so long to winter woes and hello to the sweet sound of summer,” said Dawn Uremovich, president of Häagen-Dazs Shops. “We wanted to create a fun-filled afternoon that gets people out of their houses and we couldn’t think of a better way than to entice them with a free scoop of ice cream.”
For loyal fans of the brand interested in becoming the Häagen-Dazs Shops’ Flavor Ambassador, participants can visit www.facebook.com/haagendazsshops and upload a video explaining why they should be honored with the prestigious title. A panel of judges from the company will award one lucky winner free ice cream for a year as well as the opportunity to provide feedback on prospective new flavors, a blog spot on the e-club newsletter and much more.
