Hackensack NJ, local woman, Evelyn Sampson, 62, is facing multiple charges after allegedly pouring boiling water on a man during a heated argument.
The incident occurred shortly after 10 a.m. at an apartment on Lehigh Street, according to a police news release. During the altercation, Sampson reportedly dumped boiling water on the man, causing him to sustain minor injuries.
Emergency services transported the victim to the hospital, where he received treatment for his injuries.
Following the incident, Sampson was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon. She is currently being held at Bergen County Jail awaiting her first court appearance.
