Ridgewood NJ, Village Manager Keith Kazmark is reminding residents that tomorrow is Halloween.
In an effort to keep our children safe we are asking families to carry flashlights, wear reflective clothing and trick-or-treat in well-lit areas of the Village. Drivers should use caution when traveling while children trick-or-treat on our roadways.
Be advised that the Ridgewood Police Department will have an additional police presence in neighborhoods tomorrow.
The Ridgewood Police offered the following Halloween Safety Tips
1. Wear Bright Color Costumes
2. Walk on the Sidewalk
3. Walk in big groups
4. Plan your route
5. Have Fun!
Be on the lookout for our officers and our Traffic Safety van that’s taking part in some Halloween fun while keeping Ridgewood safe.
