He is Back : Steve Lonegan Will Run for Congress in Third District
Steve Lonegan has purchased a home in Lavalette and says he’s running for Congress to take over the seat of Jon Runyan who announced he won’t be seeking another term. For more New Jersey news, visit NJTV News online at https://www.njtvonline.org/news/.
carpet bag much?
Teaneck, which borders Lonegan’s hometown of Bogota, was a ‘deep blue’ town for Booker (i.e. overwhelming percentage majority) in October’s special election for U.S. senate. While this circumstance may have been the result of a sort of ‘sit-down strike’ on the part of influential republicans in that town who were opposed to Lonegan for personal reasons, Bergen County in general has become a very sketchy place for republicans to live who aspire to federal office. I don’t blame him for pulling up stakes after his hard-fought run for U.S. senate and seeking greener political pastures, particularly given that he is staying in New Jersey.
…and the high jinks continue!!
I don’t recall if you were so adamant with your comments when Hillary moved to NY.
Or when Steve Rothman moved to Fairlawn?
Or when Paul Aronsohn moved to Ridgewood.
