Head of Paterson teachers union faces tenure charges

PATERSON – The city school district has filed disciplinary charges against the president of the teachers union, accusing him of verbally attacking and intimidating a vice principal last year.

The district is seeking to revoke the tenure of John McEntee Jr., who is president of the Paterson Education Association, a union that has more than 3,000 members.
