Another winter wonderland. Leaf piles covered with snow.
Be patient folks, Spring is on the way —- soon.

#1 we have an entire months’ worth of leaves piled high on streets under our new VM’s management. She should have spent less time patting herself on the back and more time picking up leaves. This will be a real mess if this quantity of leaves is buried under snow followed by freezing weather.
No complaints about leaves from me. They’ve done a decent job on my street. I don’t expect the streets to be clear, because the oaks still have leaves on them all over town. I.e. the trees are not finished yet. It would be unreasonable for anyone to expect the streets to be clear at this time.
I can’t believe I am defending the municipal government. See what you people have reduced me to?
If you crybabies don’t want snow on leaf piles, you have an option: move to 1) where it doesn’t snow or 2) where the leaves fall more sporadically. Otherwise, for the love of Ridgewood, stop whining.
The leaves havnt even fallen off all the trees yet. What would you like the VM to do? Climb the trees and shake loose the leaves?
There has been at least 2 leaf pickups for all sections of the town. There is a schedule for the last pickup. That last pickup has to be after all the leaves fall from the trees. That hasnt even happened yet.
I echo #5. Pickups have been fairly neat and on time. What more can they do? BTW, I noticed my property tax check is now being cashed in a timely manner instead of sitting around for a week. Looks like cash management might be also getting better
What they can do is pick up leaves more than once a month. #5 if you like crappy service then speak for yourself. People can dissent without having to move to where there aren’t any leaves. What a stupid comment. You must be retired with too much time on your hands.
It won’t snow here folks. Only a melty mix at best. Read the weather report CAREFULLY.
I plan to hibernate for the entire Winter– Call me in the Spring when the daffodils have started to show up.

haha I love it. and yes we have a lot of leaves still on trees. but the village should have the leaf crews working every sat.but they took the over time money fro the villagecrews and gave it to downs tree service to do sec ( b ) , so now what mrs manager. you don’t have a an idea do you.
I say this every year but it’s worth repeating….please don’t eat the yellow snow.
