One of the highlights of the evening for Gwenn Hauck was when she referred to resident Dana Glazer’s GoPro harness as resembling a ‘terrorist.’ That was fun.

So there you have it three council members who are not running again are going to make decisions that will change Ridgewood forever.
So the new people who are running for council get a free ride. They can’t do anything but they can say what they would have done. So why even vote. The toxic areas in Ridgewood will be cleaned up in any case.
New council members can say that they will do their best to ensure that all of the building projects are not constructed at the same time.
But that is a no brainer. Shoppers could not enter the CBD if multiple projects were going on at same time. Business in the CBD would be effectively halted.
Those running or council must be dancing with joy. No conflicts and they can bluster to their heart’s content.
9:23???? What???? You’re preemptively mad at the new council when the 3 jack asses are who have left this mess??? Get your facts straight. Place your anger where it belongs and don’t vote for the new batch of clowns the 3 have lined up to get their bidding done.
The clean up job the new council will have is staggering
They can’t clean it up. The council will pass the parking garage on Hudson St. and the high density housing to the tune of what 25-35 units.
How can a new council clean it up.
Ridgewood will be a crowded city. Then is no getting around it.
How about they be put on notice now that developers should start shoveling at their own expense because they expect to repeal as soon as sworn in?
Dumb comments from the council as usual. Not much time left for the three stooges to screw the people once and for all.
If I’m not mistaken, the vocal opponents to the multi-family developments begged to have a comprehensive study done. However, this groups real goal was not see a true objective report, it was a thinly veiled attempt to delay the process in perpetuity.
The public was in agreement that the firms hired for the study was the right team. Now that the results don’t match up to the opponents fear mongering opinions there obviously has to be some form of scandal. That group would only be satisfied with a report that said nothing should be done. Get a grip the developments are a positive change for the town.
On a side note, I’ll agree that Gwenn’s terrorism comment was ridiculous. Although he will probably take this as a complement because his actions are intended to instigate and elicit a reaction, Dana Glazer is a weasel.
