Ho-Ho-Kus NJ, we have reported on issues with wild turkeys,deer ,bears and now turtles , yes turtles . Ho-Ho-Kus Police officers Sgt. Mosca and Officer Kleinert helped to get a turtle safely across the road after a resident noticed it was in danger.
The Ridgewood blog was unable to get the name of the turtle and we were also unable to determine if this turtle was the same turtle saved in Franklin Lakes by GOP Bergen County Executive candidate Todd Caliguire .
Assemblyman Robert Auth chimed in, “Gentlemen, you are to be commended. I saved a turtle thinking about crossing Rt. 17 in Upper Saddle River onetime. We grabbed him by the tail because he was snapping at us. Great Job!!!”
