Ho-Ho-Kus NJ, the Borough of Ho-Ho-Kus announced that Michael LaCroix has been named the new Chief of the Ho-Ho-Kus Police Department effective July 1, 2021. Mayor Thomas Randall swore-in LaCroix during last evening’s Mayor & Council meeting held in the Council Chambers at Borough Hall. LaCroix’s wife held the Bible.
Chief LaCroix has been with the Ho-Ho-Kus Police Department since 2004; he was promoted to Sergeant in 2013 and has been Officer in Charge of day to day Operations since late April of this year. He has received numerous professional awards of recognition and served on the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Fatal Accident Team from 2015 to 2020. Chief LaCroix holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Pace University in Major Criminal Justice.
