I wonder when Mayor Aronsohn was going to notify the public that he is running for another elected position.

PJ , Just received my sample ballot in the mail.  I wonder when Mayor Aronsohn was going to notify the public that he is running for another elected position.  This one with the Democratic Party in the State of NJ.

Isn’t this the pot calling the kettle black?  He blasted Gabbert for being his BCUA appointment but mentions nothing about running for a partisan office in our Non-Partisan town.

Maybe our carpetbagger will be leaving soon. Ring the church bells.

  1. Details please.

  2. What a carpetbagger. During the election he played up to all the special interest groups in town but when it cam to deliverer on his promises he has fallen short. Don’t ring the the church bells to fast. When the carpetbagger Mayor Paul S Aronsohn leaves for highr office we will be stuck with ” In the bunkr” ” Pay retail” DEPUTY MAYOR ALBERT PUCCIARELL .

  3. Don’t let the door hit you….

  4. When he get done screwing up Ridgewood with his partisan politics and special interest spending he will leave but not before he grooms is replacement. Maybe his Chief of Police friend from another town.

  5. Narcissistic = DEPUTY MAYOR ALBERT PUCCIARELL .

  6. Good riddance to bad rubbish

  7. Pooch !

  8. Him too.

  9. Yea, Pooch can hit the road too along with his do nothing ex cop adviser .

  10. Thank God!

  11. Nothing on his own website. What is he running for?

  12. He is on the ballot for Democratic Committee of Bergen County

  13. why should he. he wont even meet with the workers of the village. why is that, may be he don’t like to hear the truth about the top managers. what else is it. that’s very sick minded.

  14. That is not really an elected position. It is a big nothing. We are still stuck with him.

  15. you know they are bull shit us.

  16. If he’s on a ballot, it’s an elected position.

  17. Notice that the candidates are unopposed? They are selected, not elected. It is a do nothing position.

Several years ago they just asked people if they could use their names. Two people with the position never went to a meeting, they just needed someone’s name. It is the same on both sides of the ballot.

  18. Like Jim Morgan and Michelle Lenhard ran unopposed. He’s running for an elected position as far as the county is concerned and the people of Ridgewood. Otherwise why would the county waste their money on this ballot.

  19. Paul is a lightning rod.

    Why all of the drama…?

Is the criticism of him unfair or does he “earn” it…?

  20. #19, the criticism is fair. Paul is a legend in his own mind and seeks a higher position in the Democrat ranks. Having to deal with us is just a necessary evil until he gets the promotion he craves. If I weren’t convinced beforehand, the Baghdad Bob robocalls during Sandy was the last straw.

  21. From the sounds of the complaints, the Mayor is doing a good job addressing cost overruns that have led to rampant run up in taxes. I will vote again for him as long as his actions and votes suggests that he views this town as a village more so than a city.

  22. #21, he views this town as a steppingstone.

It is heartwarming to see that many who may have help to provide him his election victory have started to see through the sleaze.

Better attain that political position in the next few years or the 2016 council election could end in a nasty surprise: another mandate by the people, but in the opposite direction.

Important to remember what A. Lincoln said about fooling all or some of the people all or some of the time.
