I wish them well in their efforts to attract business to NJ. However, if they really want to attract business to NJ and create jobs, they need to do the following:
1. Improve NJ’s university system. NJ exports thousands of top students to other states every year, many of whom never return.
2. Adopt a Right to Work union law, which makes union memebership optional.
3. Lower taxes by cutting the public sector, including making public sector workers pay far more for their benefits than they do now.
Why do states like Virginia and Texas attract jobs? They are have done a far better job than NJ at all three of the above items.
