Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood Police report that on August 16th, patrol units responded to a one car motor vehicle accident on Pine Street at 12:56 pm. The Ridgewood blog previously reported this incident .Upon arrival it was determined the vehicle was traveling west on Pine Street left the roadway and struck a tree where it came to a rest.
The driver, a 48-year-old female from Allendale, N.J. showed signs of impairment and was arrested at the scene. The arrestee was transported to Ridgewood Police headquarters and served with five motor vehicle summons including driving while under the influence and subsequently was released to the custody of a family member.
