Ivanka Trump said the presidential campaign of her father, Donald Trump, is a “forward-looking moment.”
The 34-year-old also said she is not hurt that major figures in the Republican Party — George W. Bush, Mitt Romney, Sen. John McCain and Ohio Gov. John Kasich among them — will not be attending the Republican National Convention, which kicked off today in Cleveland.
“That’s their choice if they don’t want to be part of the narrative, if they don’t want to be part of the future,” Ivanka Trump told “Good Morning America” co-anchor Lara Spencer in an interview today in New York City. “But this really is about a forward-looking moment.”
Tune in to “Good Morning America” tomorrow from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., ET, for more of Lara’s one-on-one interview with Ivanka Trump.
Ivanka Trump, a key adviser in her father’s campaign, acknowledged that he has bothered some in the party in his unlikely path from real estate mogul and reality TV star to presidential hopeful.
She needs to consult with dad. He wants to bring us back to a better time in our history. (Make America great again?).
There is no telling where the Trump time machine will land
Its like a teaser for the end of the world Horror movie. Either way we loose. HILL OR Don Juan
So….Were supposed to give a shit what I Vanka Wonka has to say????
because she plays a key roll in Trumps election campaign , and she is warning some GOP cowards they are done
“End of the world horror movie” Really funny. Just what I’ve been thinking. I wonder how many others think that.
I don’t have to rewatch Jaws this summer. Horror enough!
Why anybody would care what she thinks is a mystery.
because she plays a key roll in Trumps election campaign , and she is warning some GOP cowards they are done
She is warning GOP members that they are done? She is there to introduce dad. Were it not for dad she wouldn’t even be there.
She is nothing in the Republican Party. And neither are the other children from Trump’s three marriages.
Ivanka not happy, ain’t nobody happy. In the trump campaign, that is.
she has no real standing in the GOP. She was there as the child of a candidate.
There should be some standard in the Republican party. Can any outsider calim to be in charge?
Republican leadership is a mere shell at this point in time. Pathetic, weak, rudderless, feckless, irresponsible, visionless, contemptible. Anyone with some moxie, a microphone (or keyboard), and a few good ideas is more than a match for them. They deserve to be dressed down by the 34-year-old daughter of the outsider who just scooped up the national party’s nomination. No sympathy is due, and no formal obituary will be penned. A cautionary tale….
What will Reince Priebus’s next losing autopsy show? Same thing it did 4 years ago!
Why does he still have the job?
we will see in November
9:20, don’t forget “reactionary in the name of progress.”
I despise Hillary with every fiber of my being. But Trump is an incoherent blowhard. Every day brings fresh evidence that apart from his ability to respond to the anger of many voters, he brings nothing to public office.
try an original thought lol
@2:27. I think the same. It turns my stomach that come November I will have to choose between a witch and a galactic idiot. It will come down to who can cause less harm but it is hard to find out. They’re both dangerous. I wish Trump Jr was the real nominee. The guy really impressed me last night. It would be easy to vote for him.
She has a lot of class.
Can’t say the same for moochelle
Lots of pearl-clutchers here in Ridgewood who fear the change Trump represents to Uniparty rule in Washington, D.C. but show no signs of recognizing the brutal mangling of our form of government wrought by Obama and his enablers, or the sheer cliff Western Society would be pushed off should Hillary Clinton win in November.
