A Historic Milestone on the Court
On Saturday morning, in a high-stakes game against regional rival Ramapo, Jackson—affectionately known as “Johnny Buckets”—etched his name into Ridgewood history. With a signature pull-up jumper, he became a member of the exclusive 2,000-point club, a feat few high school players ever achieve.

“This journey has been absolutely crazy. To think that I am here scoring 2,000 points, getting ready for the state playoffs, and haven’t missed a game this season—it feels like a miracle. I’m just blessed that God put me in this position.”
Ridgewood’s Thrilling Victory
Fueled by Jackson’s historic achievement, Ridgewood came out strong, leading 18-10 after the first quarter and 35-18 at halftime. But Ramapo refused to back down.
