Late February Upper Saddle River Police Report Mail Theft in the area of Deerfield Lane

Upper Saddle River NJ, on Friday afternoon (2/24), the Upper Saddle River Police Department received the report of an act of possible mail theft. The theft was confirmed and occurred in the area of Deerfield Lane between the hours of 10:30 AM and 01:00 PM. It is believed other thefts from mailboxes in the area may have occurred. Please check the status of any outgoing checks placed in mailboxes on Friday 2/24/23. The suspect vehicle is a silver/gray sedan, possibly a BMW, with dark tinted windows.   1. Suggestion: Sign up for ‘informed delivery’ from the USPS for free
    All mail is scanned so you will get a daily email of whats coming to you that day
    Occassionally mail gets lost and not delivered but I have found this to be accurate and helpful, and in the case of a lost mail piece, i can call the sender.
    (since the PO is good at losing mail, i pay my bills online so no late payments ever)
