Paramus NJ, after heavy thunder storms we often post photos of trees down in Ridgewood and Glen Rock but Sunday nights storms seemed to hit Paramus exceptionally hard. Paramus Police and Fire Department were operating in the area of Roosevelt Blvd where numerous wires, trees and poles were taken down during a severe thunder storm this afternoon. Public Service Electric & Gas Co. has repeated that they are prepared for the thunderstorms and strong winds forecast for the service area .
“PSE&G works year round to provide reliable service and to prepare for these summer storms,” said Jack Bridges, PSE&G’s vice president for Electric Operations. “We have crews available to respond to any service interruptions that may occur and we encourage customers to contact us immediately should they experience an outage.”
