Authorities have thwarted a plot in Canada to attack a railroad that carries a daily Amtrak passenger train between Toronto and New York City, US law enforcement and national security sources told Reuters.

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation earlier reported that Canadian police and intelligence agencies will announce multiple arrests on Monday evening after an operation to thwart a “major terrorist attack.”

Two arrested and charged over Canada terror plot .Canadian police have given a news conference about a foiled terrorist attack against a passenger train on which has led to two people being arrested and charged.

The Royal Canadian Mountain Police named the two accused as Chiheb Esseghaier and Raed Jaser, from the Montreal and Toronto areas respectively.

It followed an “extensive and complex” criminal investigation called Project Smooth that began in August 2012 which found that they were conspiring to carry out an al-Qaeda supported attack.

  1. Last Thursday, a young Saudi national was deported from the US. He was taken straight from Boston’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and put on a private flight to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
This guy, Abdul Rahman Ali Al-Harbi, was a student at the New England School of English in Boston. Immediately after the Boston marathon bombings, last Monday, Al-Harbi became a person of interest to the FBI. His phone was found on the ground very close to the where the explosions had taken place. When the FBI interviewed him in hospital, his excuse pertaining to why his phone was found so close to the explosion site was that “When I started to run, I must have dropped it from my pocket.”
It was quickly discovered that the FBI could not do anything to Ali Al-Harbi because of his family connections in Saudi Arabia and as a sign of cooperation with the US and their Saudi Allies, it was announced that Ali Al-Harbi would be deported as he posed a serious threat to the national security of the US.
What was also known to the FBI was the fact that Al-Harbi’s large extended family has a colorful past. While most, in particular his immediate family, are very close to the Saudi Royal Family, the following clan members can be found at Guantanamo Bay, where they are held at the pleasure of the government of the USA:
    • Salim Salman Awadallah Al-Sai’di Al-Harbi
    • Majid Abdullah Hussein Al-Harbi
    • Muhammad Abdullah Saqr Al-Alawi Al-Harbi
    • Ghanem Abdul Rahman Ghanem Al-Harbi
    • Muhammad Atiq Uwaid Al-Awfi Al-Harbi
There are others who are wanted by the Saudi government for planning, financing and orchestrating terrorist activity and they include:
    • Badr Saud Uwaid Al-Awufi Al-Harbi
    • Muhammad Atiq Uwaid Al-Awufi Al-Harbi
    • Khalid Salim Uwaid Al-Lahibi Al-Harbi
    • Raed Abdullah Salem Al-Thahiri Al-Harbi
    • Abdullah Abdul Rahman Muhammad Al-Harbi (clan elder and leader)
    • Fayez Ghuneim Humeid Al-Hijri Al-Harbi
To make things worse, after a brief meeting with Saudi diplomats at Boston’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Michelle Obama paid a visit to the injured Al-Harbi.
With the history this guy’s family has, why was he deported and not arrested? Surely he had some involvement in the bombing or he should have at least been questioned further. Then senior democratic senators, including the Secretary of the Department of Homeland security, Janet Napolitano, denied that they were deporting Al-Harbi. In actual fact, the DHS apologized to Al-Harbi and offered to pay all his medical expenses. What was that about?
The key question is: Who overruled the FBI and sent this guy packing? Is the relationship with Saudi Arabia much more important than finding justice for slain American AND Chinese citizens?
Noting the arrest of two suspects on Monday, April 22 for the attempted bombing of a train from Toronto, Canada to New York City, should Americans be worried about what is to come in the future, as that future pertains to the enhanced possibility of more terrorist attacks? I think that they should. The primary reason is based right on its own door step.
Currently, there are 84 prisoners on hunger strike at Guantanamo Bay. Most of these have been held without charge for close to ten years and of the 84 prisoners on hunger strike, 16 are being forced fed. Have the US authorities learned nothing from their British Allies when it comes to hunger strikes and force feeding prisoners. Some at the state department and/or the Department of Homeland Security would do well to read about the IRA Hunger Strikes in 1981 or the force feeding of Thomas Ashe in Dublin’s Mountjoy Jail in 1917 which resulted in his death.

Since 1975, forced feeding has been prohibited by the Declaration of Tokyo of the World Medical Association, provided that the prisoner is “capable of forming an unimpaired and rational judgment”

So what will happen should any of these hunger strikers die at Guantanamo? They will be heralded as martyrs. The sad thing is, most of them have been proven to have played no role in any terrorist activities and are totally innocent but the US is afraid to release them because of what they have term hostilities towards them upon their return to their home countries – what bullshit is that? But should any of them die, either through starving themselves to death or through forced feeding, well then, I believe that terrorist attacks on US soil will become the norm.

As the IRA said when it tried to blow up Margret Thatcher during the Conservative Party Conference in 1984, “She has to be lucky all the time, we only have to be lucky ONCE!!!” I believe that same situation will develop here in the US because of the lies, the total dishonesty and the brazen attitude of the political leaders and senior law enforcement and intelligence personnel towards the great citizens of the USA.

It is up to everyone, regardless of who they are or what they are to ask questions and to seek answers to those questions. The people of the US are told constantly that the US is a great democracy and they are reminded of the Constitution every day pertaining freedoms to do everything – I think that will change very soon – as they have already lost our freedom to be told the truth by the government.

People need to wake up and smell the Starbucks – life is going to get hard and the safety and security that they are promised is going to vanish really soon!!!
