Despite a rapid response by emergency personnel, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Members of the victim’s family were notified by police and did respond to the location. Following on site investigations conducted by Fair Lawn PD and the Bergen County Medical Examiner’s Office, the victim’s body was removed from the property just before 11 AM. Decontamination assistance was provided by the Fair Lawn Rescue Squad.
Another worker fell and died in Teterboro on Friday. Whatever happened to using safety equipment?
Seems to be a symptom of going with the lowest bidder.
Construction is a dangerous occupation. More dangerous than police or fire. If they were unionized it would cost a grand to have your gutters cleaned!
Construction lives matter
Framers are maniacs. Set the bar so high for the casuals on the job 3 stories up. Imagine your Subcontractor looses a man on your home edition and takes off you are on the hook
