Man Killed Falling from Tree in Ridgewood

Ridgewood NJ, according to sources in the Village a tree service worker fell to his death on Thursday in Ridgewood. The gentleman worked for Arrow Tree Service located in Old Tappan  and fell from a tree at a Waiku Road home off Carlton Terrace at around 8:40 a.m.

  2. My condolences to the family of this man. I have seen tree workers, roofers, and gutter cleaners ignoring the OSHA rules requiring safety harnesses. I do not know the circumstances here. If you see those violations pick up the phone and call OSHA. They can respond quickly as their office is in Hasbrouk heights. The gutter cleaners rarely have a harness, and manage to always leave their black plastic bags of debris in the street, in violation of the ordinances.
