Hackensack NJ, according to NJ Transit officials a man was struck and killed by an NJ Transit train Wednesday morning Hackensack.
The Pascack Valley Line train hit the man shortly before 10 a.m. near the Essex Street train station in Hackensack. One customer was on the train when the incident occurred.
The train departed Hoboken at 9:34 a.m. and was bound for New Bridge Landing (River Edge ).
NJ Transit police were leading the investigation ,circumstances weren’t immediately clear as to the cause of the accident.
