Maywood NJ, Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco recently joined the Board of Commissioners to present a $197,153 grant from the Bergen County Open Space Trust Fund (OSTF) to Maywood Mayor Richard Bolan for upgrades to Maywood Memorial Park, including lighting upgrades and electrical work.
The Trust Fund, established in 1998, is a dedicated program supporting open space land acquisition, recreation development, as well as historical preservation and farmland protection throughout Bergen County.
The Open Space Trust Fund is an invaluable tool, allowing the County of Bergen to promote sustainability and preserve open space for future generations. We are proud to support our municipalities through these grants, and I look forward to seeing the completion of many of these projects in the years to come!
