East Rutherford NJ, a motorcyclist died when his vehicle crashed on a ramp from Route 120 to Route 3 in East Rutherford on Wednesday afternoon. According to Deputy Chief Phillip Taormina of the East Rutherford Police Department ,East Rutherford Police were called to the scene shortly after 5 p.m. and discovered the body of the 25-year-old driver from West New York near his motorcycle.
Deputy Chief Taormina confirmed that the driver was pronounced dead at the scene, but he had no further details on his identity or the cause of the crash.
At 5:48 p.m., the state Transportation Department issued an alert about the crash, saying all southbound lanes of Route 120 were closed. East Rutherford Police Department were on the scene investigating the accident at 718 pm according to a Facebook post . By 9:10 p.m., the road and ramp had reopened, Deputy Chief Taormina said.
I’ve seen (and heard) these guys on Route 21 and they are out of control.
