Woodcliff Lake  NJ, on July 25th the  Woodcliff Lake Police Department reported , “Another car was stolen in town last night. Key fob was left in it. We can not stress enough, Do not leave you key fobs in your vehicles if you want them there in the morning. ” Larcenies of vehicles and from vehicles are often crimes of opportunity. Thieves take advantage of unsecured doors and steal items left unattended or out in plain view or do they?

Is it just us or are all these stolen unlocked cars starting to look a little “fishy” . Never left a car unlocked in the 60’s,70’s ,80’s , 90’s 2000’s now suddenly everybody leaves their car unlocked ?

The mission of the Office of the Insurance Fraud Prosecutor (OIFP) is to conduct full and fair investigations to ensure successful criminal prosecutions, civil adjudications, licensing sanctions or other appropriate dispositions and to serve as the focal point for the coordination of all anti-insurance fraud activities statewide.

Office of the Insurance Fraud Prosecutor serves as the focal point for all criminal, civil and administrative prosecutions of Medicaid and insurance fraud. The Office also coordinates all insurance-related anti-fraud activities of State and local departments and agencies.
