Englewood NJ, the New Jersey State Police have arrested Dwayne Redd Jr., 22, of Baltimore, MD, who was wanted for allegedly shooting a man and injuring another on June 20 in Englewood, N.J.
Redd was charged with murder, attempted murder, and unlawful possession of a firearm by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office. During the investigation, detectives from the State Police Fugitive Unit were contacted by Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office detectives to assist with locating Redd. Through various investigative means, detectives determined that Redd was staying at a residence in Baltimore, MD.
On Thursday, August 13, detectives from the Fugitive Unit, along with members of the United States Marshals Service Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force located and arrested Redd at the residence.
He was lodged at the Baltimore County Detention Center pending extradition to New Jersey.
Charges are mere accusations, and the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
