Paramus NJ, drivers in New Jersey are going to pay in more for tolls, as of January 1st. Last month, the authority that runs the New Jersey Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway approved an increase of 3% to help fund capital projects.
What does a the toll hike feel like : If you’re on the Turnpike, from Exit 11 to Exit 16-E for the Lincoln Tunnel, right now you pay $7 in tolls.
Starting on Jan. 1, you’ll pay $7.21, if you’re using E-ZPass.
Didn’t tolls just go up last year? So much for Murphy looking out for the less fortunate. Tolls are among the most regressive taxes and impact the poor way more than the rich. What a hypocrite. Sales tax increase will be next. Might be time to leave the state
Well, they are not fixing the roads/infrastructure with any of this money, that’s for sure
