SHARED LOADING ZONES/15-MINUTE METER PARKING SPACES IN CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT
the staff of the Ridgewood blog
Ridgewood NJ, there are new shared loading zones/15-minute meter parking spaces in the Central Business District (CBD). These shared parking spaces are on various streets throughout the CBD, and will be used as loading zones only from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and then as 15-minute metered parking spaces from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. only. These shared parking spaces are boxed out in white paint to delineate them from other parking spaces. These shared parking spaces will allow for businesses and eateries in the CBD to have space for their delivery trucks to park during the day, and then allow for the same spaces to be used for either pickup of food or a quick errand, from late afternoon to early evening. Please remember that you must pay the 15-minute parking meter when you use the 15-minute spaces from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
great idea
We like the snow marker on top of the water hydrant. Every one in the village should have one. It’s no brain’er
Where are they? Can we see a photo of one?
Yeah it’s on top of the van fire hydrant.
Another scheme to remove parking spaces in an attempt to increase albatross ginormous parking garage use…
