Ramsey NJ, the Ramsey school board has reached a three-year contract agreement with the teachers union the Ramsey Education Association that will lengthen the grade school day by 20 minutes and the high school day by 17 minutes.
The settlement provides a salary increase of 3.26% over the three years. Superintendent Andrew Matteo and Ramsey Education Association negotiations chair Scott Sirota declined to give a dollar value for the settlement.
According to Superintendent Andrew Matteo , Tthe changes will revise the school district’s 2023-2024 calendar, previously approved in February.
